Atlantis is the most famous and most hunted lost city on the history. Plato’s story on Atlantis as a city that lost into the depth of the sea, until now still becomes an interesting story to explore. Along with the technology development, many people start to race on unveiling the mystery of the lost of Atlantis that predicted to be emerged into the depth of the sea because of the mountain explosion and earthquake in Atlantic Ocean. Sonar technology to satellite was involved on the search of the remaining of Atlantis, the city that Plato called as the city with high culture from the past.

A British man using Google Earth made one of the shocking searching attempts recently. According to “The Sun” tabloid, a citizen claims to have discovered interesting proofs on the existence of Atlantis remaining on the depth of the sea. The proofs that he meant is the lines up of lines that he believes as the remaining walls that cross over at the size of England. He believes it is impossible if that lines up on 3.5 miles under the Atlantic Ocean merely natural coincidence. Because, there is no other intelligence creature other than human can build lines up of walls under the sea. The discovery point emerges on 620 miles on the West of Morocco, near Canary Island. It is very close to Plato description on his writing on Atlantis, a city with high culture that is gone into the sea for a tremendous earthquake on 9700 BC. Read more…

Do you know that reCAPTCHA can prevent spammers and helps us to scan an old book into digital format, while the Google Image Labeler makes Picture Tagging activities become interesting. Yahoo now also creates a similar feature via its new VideoTagGame, a game that encourages players to put tag on a part of video to improve search accuracy.

VideoTagGame first launched in mid-year 2007 in the Yahoo event, Amsterdam. Now Yahoo is ready to make a pilot application to the public through Yahoo Sandbox so they can collect more data. Similar to Google Image Labeler, VideoTagGame goal is to collect annotation in certain part of a video that allows a search to restore the relevant section in video without the need to restore the entire video as the search results. Tags that describe the video are collected through a multi-player game.
